We completed this extension renovation of a 1930s semi detached dormer bungalow in 8 months; on time and under budget. This project involved demolition of the majority of the existing house and building the extension to the rear and side of the house. The extension was built in Birtley Old English Buff brick and painted render with a continuous powder coat aluminium flashing around the house finished the same colour as the aluminium windows to the rear and side of the house. New timber windows from McNally Joinery were used on the front elevation. Underfloor heating was installed on the ground floor along with an Aereco ventilation system.
