Projects - Grove Malahide

Job overview:

One Grove Avenue was a 1930s property on a corner site at the junction of Grove Avenue  and Grove Road in Malahide.
In collaboration with ODKM Architects planning permission was sought for the reorganisation of the large site to reconfigure the existing property  to allow for the construction of a detached two story dwelling to the corner of the site and also the addition of a Mews house to the rear of the site.

This development consists of two A2 rated new builds and upgrading the existing dwelling from E1 to an A3 BER rating

The three dwellings were built with the end user in mind and future proofing the homes for the years ahead, lighting control systems; Nest Smart heating controls along with CCTV/alarm and motorised blinds; allowing the homeowner complete control of their home at the touch of a button from anywhere through the use of their phone.

Bespoke Kitchens  and interior fitted furniture were designed  and fitted by Dean Cooper Furniture design for each property; complete with Siemens appliances and induction hob with integrated downward extractor.

Reynar’s and APA Windows and doors and roof lights were installed by AGAM Ltd for each property.

A Sedum green roofs were installed to the flat roof areas of the development to promote sustainable water drainage from the flat roofs along with promoting biodiversity.

The development was cleverly landscaped by Peter Donegan Garden Design & Landscaping to allow the development to tie in with the surrounding neighbourhood through the use of mature planting and low maintenance design.
